Dr. Basem Saraj is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. He obtained his degree in Orthopaedics from Sahlgrenska University in Sweden and is certified by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. He is also a member of the Emirates Chapter of Hand Surgery.

Dr. Basem currently works as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Rashid Hospital, Dubai, a leading centre for hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in the UAE. His clinical expertise encompasses the diagnosis and management of a wide range of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, fingers, peripheral nerves and soft tissues.
